Apodaca Jr, Filadelfio E "Felix"Felix E Apodaca Jr. passed away on April 2, 2020 at the age of 76 years.
A native of Colorado, born in Fowler to surviving parent Rosella Romero-Ybarra, and Filadelfio Apodaca Sr. deceased 1997. Graduated High School in 1962. Felix was the star athlete in football, and basketball, as well as the Letterman's club. Entering the United States Air Force in 1963. Felix attended barber college in the early 70's, and was cutting hair up to 3 weeks prior of his passing in Denver Colorado.
He is survived by the love of his life Marsha Vargas of 15 years, children Felix Sandoval, Annette Breer (Raymond), Marcia Apodaca (Louis Rodriguez), and Manuel Apodaca, 12 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren, followed by siblings: Shirlee Gribble (Terry), Renie Ybarra (Aurelia), Anthony Ybarra, Kathy Garcia (David), Augustine "Gusy" Ybarra (Grace), Cindy Lopez, Vernette Oyoque (Freddie), Johnny Ybarra, Ron Apodaca, Steve Apodaca, Rachel Apodaca, Felix David Apodaca, Donald Apodaca (Dora), Phyllis Gonzales (Mike), and Bernadine Apodaca. Deceased siblings Micheal Apodaca, Lydia Rodriquez (Frank), and Jeanette Telles (also deceased Manuel).
Felix was loved by many in his community, friends, clients and family through out his life and will be greatly missed by all.
A military send off will be held September 4, 2020, 2:15 pm at Ft. Logan Cemetery 4400 Kenyon Ave. Denver, CO 80236, followed by a celebration of Felix's life on September 5, 2020, at the The Fraternal Order of Eagles at 3780 Jason St. S Englewood CO 80110, 2:00 pm. Pending COVID 19 restrictions. All are welcome to attend.
