On Sunday June 14th, 2020, Jeffrey Wayne Jensen, age 56, passed away in his home in Central City, CO. He is survived by two daughters, Hailey (Ryann) Stepp (28), and Corina (Connar) Jensen (20). He is also survived by parents Thomas and Carole Jensen, and sisters Rhona Medford and Devra Bogan.

Jeffrey was born and raised in California. He loved going to Six Flags Magic Mountain and even worked there as a teen. His favorite thing to do was to “blow the station” and ride a roller coaster multiple times in a row without getting off. He spent time in the US Navy before settling down into his career as a blackjack and craps dealer, and later a pit boss. Jeffrey was, in his own words, a comedian. At the table games and the pit stand he ran his bits and made people constantly laugh for upwards of 20 years. He was well known for his incredible fashion including track suits, baseball caps, and wacky ties printed with sports, gambling games, chess, and cartoons. He loved building new slot car tracks and putting his creativity to work in his down time. He made friends everywhere he went, and never had a dull story to tell. He made sure his two children Hailey and Lucy always had fun on their summer vacations and always had fun stories and memories to bring back with them. He was a devoted sports fan and passed his favorite baseball team down to his daughters. He was always proud that his signature blue eyes (which he passed on to his daughters), matched his favorite team, “Dodger Blue!” Jeff’s comedy, love, friendship, and creativity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
