Patricia June Campbell died peacefully in her home on October 12, 2020, after an aggressive battle with pancreatic cancer. She was 67 years old.

Born on June 08, 1953, Patricia was a dedicated gardener, tending to her vegetables, plants, and flowers and building the garden of her dreams. She loved to care for the wild birds, squirrels, rabbits, and bees who shared her garden and she spent some of her happiest days there.

Patricia, also an avid thrifter, had a keen eye for treasure hunting and sharing beautiful objects with her family. No estate sale or garage sale was left unturned! Patricia had an intuition and keen sense for all the best finds! Alongside being thrifty, she was an artist with the ability to repurpose her found treasures and share them with those she loved.

Although she loved her garden and a good garage sale, her greatest love was her family.  Patricia was the proud mother and grandmother of 4 children (Chris Gallucci, Stacy Abel, Jessica Campbell, and Leigha Andrianopoulos) and 4 grandchildren (Aiden, Bryce, Kaleigh, and Dorian).  Her children and grandchildren were her heart and she loved them beyond measure.

Patricia’s friends and family knew her as a loving force of nature: nurturing, strong, compassionate, and devoted. She listened and guided with love and encouragement, and generously shared healthy food and recipes, hoping to inspire healing and healthy living. Loving, giving, intelligent, compassionate - this world is a much better place for having Patricia in it.

In the end, Patricia did not lose her battle with cancer, because, in truth, she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Patricia stayed strong. Everyone who knew her described her as “one of the strongest people they ever knew” and it was true.  Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like.

We miss you, Mom.

Services will be private due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in her name to the gardens at the Denver Botanic Gardens:  https://flourish.botanicgardens.org/botanicgardensgiving.  Her ashes will be scattered at a future date.
