It is with great sadness that the family of Dawn Kristin Ritter announces her sudden passing on January 27, 2020 at the age of 49 years old. Dawn was a 1988 graduate of Poway High School.
Dawn was an EMS dispatcher for American Medical Response for 10 years.
In 2016 Dawn started fostering dogs for Douglas County Canine Rescue. In the past four years Dawn was instrumental in saving the lives of well over 200 dogs and puppies. Dawn would also talk people in to donating blankets, towels, stuffed animals and kennels at garage sales to the rescue.
Dawn is survived by her husband Mark, son Tyler Warren, mother Barbara Warren, brother David Warren, sister Lindsay Warren, four nieces and nephews and her beloved dogs, Jack, Charlie, Chance and Dodge.
