Marvella Ruth Gabaldon, 82, of Brighton, Colorado, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 26, 2019 at home surrounded by her children, family and friends. She was born in Denver, Colorado on August 27, 1936. Our mother was an amazing cook who was well known for catering weddings and other special occasions. Her favorite thing to do in her spare time was to crochet and embroider. She is survived by her 10 children, Wawa Gabaldon, Anthony “Florence” Gabaldon, Rebecca “Mike” Wada, Jesse Gabaldon, Carla Gabaldon, Donna Gabaldon, Pete Gabaldon, Valerie “Darrin” Barros, Lynda Gabaldon, and Kerry Gabaldon. 41 grandchildren, 53 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, 1 brother Daniel “Henrietta” Trujillo and 2 sisters Cita Giron and Roberta Martinez. She is proceeded in death by her mother Rita Trujillo, her step father John Trujillo, her father Donaciano Martinez and her sister Delia Medina.
