Joe Amado Garcia passed away on June 2, 2019 at Pathways Hospice Care Center at McKee Medical in Loveland. Joe was born on June 24, 1940 to Diego Garcia and Lucinda Maes in Redwing Colorado.He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers James Garcia and Ernest Garcia. Sisters Vicky Quintana, Elva Salazar, and Gloria Valdez. One grandson Christopher Garcia. Joe is survived by his wife Cecilia Garcia. Daughters Jessie Sorbera and Shelly Garcia. Son Kenneth Garcia. Four granddaughters Heather Sorbera, Haley, Alexus, and Christina Garcia. Joe is also survived by sisters Mary Madrid (Richard), Jane Jiminez (Leonard), brothers Diego Garcia, Walter Garcia (Isabelle), and Fermin Garcia (Helen). Joe retired from the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, after 26 years of service. Joe was quite the jokester. He also liked working in the yard, loved sports; especially his Broncos. He enjoyed all kinds of music and was quite the dancer in his younger years.Per Joe's request there will be no funeral services.
