It is with great sadness that the family of Daniel Kurtis Rivera announces his passing after fighting kidney cancer, on Wednesday May 22, 2019 at the age of 47. Danny was a resident of Denver, Colorado. Born in La Junta Colorado on September 6,1971. Danny was surrounded by his sisters Tonya and Vanessa and his two daughter's Nina and Camryn~Jo and grandson Giovannii as he passed away in hospice. Danny will be forever remembered by his love of his life and best friend of 23 years, Andrea Sanchez and their precious children Camryn~Jo and Jordyn Rivera. Danny will also be forever remembered by his numerous nephew's, neices's and extended family and dear friends. Also his buddie Teddy! Danny was predeceased by his son Daniel Rivera (Jr.) Little brother Leland Robinson (Lee Lee). Joe and Jeff Sanchez and baby Jacob. Danny was a dedicated young man who loved to build and weld. He took great pride in all he did! He had many jobs around Denver and LOVED to point all of them out! His love for the Denver Broncos was no doubt known. Everyday sporting good ol' orange and blue. He also loved to go fishing and wished he could of done more of that but working was always a must for Danny. His love for his children was a given. His Pride & Joy. Danny enjoyed his time working on the church yard. Dedicating that time to God and to honor a loved one in need or to honor them.
A celebration of Danny's life will be held at !0:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 29th, at North Rock Church. 10100 Grant Street. Thornton, CO 80229. Pastor Chad Carroll will be officiating. Please join the family after the service for some refreshments at the church.
