Marlin S. “Butch” Webeck Aug. 18, 1945 – Dec. 15, 2019 Born on August 18, 1945 in Menominee, Michigan to Parents Rubin E. Webeck and Irene B. (Doboy) Webeck. Upon moving to Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1950, I attended School K-12 and graduated in 1963 from South Division High School. The very next day, I moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota and attended University of Minnesota 1964-65. Enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1965 and spent 4 years active (1966-1969) aboard the fleet oiler U.S.S. Nantahala (AO-60). I married in 1969 and upon discharge from the Navy became owner of an Amoco Gas Station in 1970. I was blessed with a son, Todd born in 1972 in Rochester, MN. I divorced in 1981 and moved to Colorado in 1982 where I met my beautiful wife Charlsi, who I married on December 1, 1984. I have three beautiful daughters who I love dearly as if they were my own. I was a Master Cadillac and Oldsmobile Teck, Master ASE Certified from 1982-2004 in Greeley, CO dealerships. I became an Auto Instructor at Aims Community College, Greeley, CO until I retired in 2010. What a wonderful life when God is in it. I was blessed with eight grandchildren. I am a Loyal Order of Moose Member for over 40 years. I ran fundraisers for Muscular Dystrophy for 17 years as my son Todd had this disease and perished from it on May 30, 2019. I have a brother, Michael (Roseria) Webeck, two nieces and one nephew in Minnesota and Omaha, NE. I LOVED sports, supporter of Colorado Teams, plus the Minnesota Twins and Vikings. I had a love for fishing, golfing and bowling. I am survived by my brother Michael (Roseria) Webeck of Saint Charles, MN; children, Jan Schmidt of Frederick, Jennifer Lyn (Ian) Matheson of Centennial and Kim (Shawn) Harmer of Greeley; daughter-in-law Jennet Webeck of Hopkins, MN; grandchildren, Misti Aragon, Tiffani Schmidt, Derrick Schmidt, Jared (Julianne) Harmer, Geoffrey (Courtney) Harmer, Hanna Matheson, TracyAnn Harmer and Jake Matheson; Sister-in-law, Candace Olson of San Antonio, TX; Nieces, Heather Chaney of Bellevue, NE, and Kelly (John) Johnson of Rochester, MN; Nephew, Matthew (Jessica) Webeck of Dover, MN. I am preceded in death by my wife, Charlsi C Webeck; parents, Rubin & Irene Webeck; brother, Ronald Webeck and son, Todd Webeck. Celebration of Life for Marlin “Butch” Webeck will be held at 9:00 a.m., January 3, 2020, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 7263 W 4 th St, Greeley, CO 80634. A celebration luncheon will be hosted by the Women of the Moose from 11 a.m. to 12:30 pm at Greeley-Evans Moose Lodge, 3456 11 th Ave, Evans, CO 80620. Following the luncheon, there will be Columbarium Service at Fort Logan National Cemetery, 4400 W Kenyon Ave, Denver, CO 80236, at 2:15 p.m. with full Military Honors. The Family would be honored by your attendance as both Marlin S Webeck and Charlsi S Webeck will be laid to rest together.
