David Alan LaVoy

It is with great sadness that the family of David Alan LaVoy, age 67, of Littleton, CO, announces that he unexpectedly passed away April 10, 2022.

David was the middle child born into the LaVoy family of Lambertville, Michigan on August 18,1954. He attended St. Francis High School in Toledo and graduated from Ohio State University.

Dave eventually moved to Texas and sold insurance before becoming involved in the construction industry. He moved to Colorado to become a business development manager within the industry, with great success.

After moving to the Denver area, he met the love of his life-Robin Vigil. They were married and he became a father to his step-daughter Erica and “Papaw” and "Grandpa" to her family.

David LaVoy is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his four brothers, Jeff, Mark, Tom and Rick; one child, David (DJ) and his child, Ellie Victoria; step-daughter, Erica Carlson and her husband, Robert. He will be fondly remembered by His grandchildren: Briana, Jordin, Dominic, Robbie, Kynlee, Alex, Matthew, Makayla, and Cameron.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Marge LaVoy, and his wife, Robin.

The memorial service will take place on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at Mission Hills Church starting at 11:00 AM. The Church is located at 620 Southpark Dr., Littleton, CO, 80120.
