Jamie Nelson

It is with great sadness we announce our mother Jamie Nelson has passed away on January 10, 2022, at the age of 59 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was surrounded by loved ones and George Straight at the time of her passing in Highlands Ranch, CO.

Jamie was a wonderful wife, mother, grandma, sister and aunt who loved unconditionally. She never thought twice about putting others before herself. She had many friends and was a well-loved member of the community in Soldotna, AK. One of her greatest loves in life besides her grand children was her love for her coworkers and residents while employed at Heritage Place.

Jamie is survived by her husband Rob Nelson. Children William (Brittney) Benner, Cameron Benner, Seth (Rachael) Nelson, Cody Nelson, Sheldon Nelson and Cearirra Nelson as well as four grandchildren. She is survived by her sisters Lyssa, Ryssa, Keri, Rena and her nieces and nephews Willow, Taylor, Randall, Trisha, Tyler, Jennifer, Asyla, and Raleigh.
