Christopher Nelson Lasch, born on 4/25/65 to Nell Commager Lasch and Robert Christopher Lasch, died on June 13, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father and survived by his mother, his son, Rain Ellis Lasch, his daughter Grace Perry Noe, his wife, Elizabeth Stovall, his brother Robert Lasch, his sisters Kate Loomis and Elisabeth Lasch-Quinn, his nephews Robby Ramdin and Christopher Lasch, and his nieces Greta Ramdin, Eleanor Lasch, Isabel Lasch-Quinn, and Honore Lasch-Quinn, and a grandson, Gunnar Lee Noe. He was a 1987 graduate of Columbia University, and a 1996 graduate of Yale Law School. He dedicated his life and career to helping others as a public defender, a civil rights lawyer, and a clinical law professor, teaching as a research scholar and Cover Fellow at the Yale law school clinic, as a visiting clinical professor at Suffolk Law School, and finally as a professor at Denver University Sturm College of Law. He had a brilliant mind, a kind and generous heart, a soft voice, and endless wit. He was a teacher, scholar, pianist, chef, woodworker, plumber, rap star, student of life and The Best Dad Ever. He was beloved by many and will be missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will take place Friday, July 16, 2021 at the University of Denver. Please note that all attendees are required to complete the Visitor Survey within 2 hours of visiting campus (except for DU employees who are cleared for campus).
