Pommerville, Sperling "Swede"

Sperling Dale Pommerville, known to friends as "Swede", passed away at age 86 on May 1st, 2021 in Arvada, Colorado.
Sperling was born on August 13th, 1934, to Dale and Helia Pommerville in Chicago, IL, and raised in Duluth, MN.
He is survived by siblings Mike Runell, Greg Runell, Jerry Pommerville, and Jacalyn Willis.
Sperling had three children, Gary, Danny, and Julie, and daughter in laws Janet Pommerville and Marlene Williams, along with numerous grandchildren, including Michael, Matthew, Danny Paul, and Joshua.
He was married to Donna, and then to Mary Lue for more than 25 years.
After her passing he was very dear friends with Glenda Viche, enjoying his last years with her companionship.

He was a member of the Air Force, serving in New Mexico and Louisiana, then settling down in Denver as a mechanic and machinist.
He was active with the Boy Scouts, serving as a scoutmaster to troop 528 in Arvada, and had been an Eagle scout when he was younger.
Part of his life consisted of enjoying all outdoor activities, especially boating, fishing, and camping, and spending time with friends and family.
Riding his motorcycle was a large part of his leisure activities, as well as racing cars when he was younger.
He traveled all of the Unites States, including Hawaii and Alaska, mainly driving, but also flying, and taking a cruise to get there.
He lived a rich and varied life, and was able to beat bone cancer before passing away of natural causes.
Sperling was and is loved by many, and will be sorely missed.
