Cindy Lynn Schonlaw

Cindy Lynn Schonlaw passed away peacefully on May 14, 2021.  Cindy had a kind and generous spirit.  She never failed to brighten  everyone's  day. She made friends everywhere she went, the grocery store, and the dollar store were her favorites. She would tease people and call them her cousins.   I don't think she ever met a stranger.

Cindy waged a courageous battle against cancer for the last three years of her life. Her positive attitude and humor were infectious.  Her bravery was an inspiration to all who came in contact with her.

Cindy was a stage hand and worked for many years at the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.  She also worked many concert venues and told lots of stories about Rock and Roll Stars. She loved music and  the theater.  She had a knack for finding stuff in the alley taking it home fixing and painting it and selling it a one of her many garage sales.  During her illness she taught herself to paint and became quite accomplished in landscapes.

She is survived by Her husband Joe Navickas,  sisters Sue Ann Schneider (Randy), Jayne Schonlaw, and Shannon Schonlaw. Sisters in law Karen Schonlaw, Diane Navickas (Chuck Kelley)and Lori Bocanegra, Brothers in law Collin Navickas (Deanna)  and David Navickas. She was preceeded in death by her mother Betty Jane Schonlaw, her father Charles(Chuck)  Schonlaw and her brother Craig Schonlaw. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and of course lots and lots of cousins.

A memorial service will be held on June 12th  at 2 pm at

 Faith Lutheran Church,

17701 W. 16th Avenue.,
