Barbara Ann DeFotis

"Barbara DeFotis, known to friends as “Barb”, passed away on March 13, 2021, at the age of 68 years. Barb will be forever remembered as the daughter of Edward and Gladys, as a mother by her children, Catherine, Christopher, and William, as a sister by her brother, Bob, and as a family member and friend to many.

Barb was the most giving, caring, loving person. She was raised by two caring and nurturing parents which is evident in how she treated people in her life. Barb spent most of her life around animals because she was the biggest animal lover from taking home strays, to fostering pups, to loving many animals along the way!

Barb spent most of her years in Illinois from grade school to college. She was a very determined person which shows by her going back to school at the age of 40 to pursue her RN. During her career as an RN, she was able to travel and volunteer in many different countries in need which was a great joy for her.

She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. Services will be announced at a later date."
