Wendy Elaine Boudreaux
It is with great sadness that the family of Wendy Elaine Boudreaux announces her passing, on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, at the age of 58 years. Wendy will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael Biggs, her daughter, Nickole Sigrist, son-in-law, Fred Sigrist and her daughter-in-law, Jayme Roedel. Wendy will also fondly be remembered by her beautiful grandchildren, Nathaniel Biggs, Vivienne Sigrist and Louis Sigrist. Wendy will also be forever remembered by brother and sisters, her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends. Wendy is predeceased be her father, Louis Boudreaux.
While the family of Wendy is deeply saddened by her passing, they are at peace knowing she is finally at peace.
Wendy was a lifelong fisherman. Finding joy and peace at the lake, or river with her husband and pets by her side. When she was not fishing, she was setting her fantasy football lineup, watching her beloved Saints, planning the next camping trip, scoping out the next music festival or watching NASCAR. When you entered the home, she shared with her husband you got a true sense of what mattered most to her. The walls of her home are covered in pictures of her family, pictures and artwork from her beautiful grandchildren and posters and remembrances of moments and experiences during her life.
Wendy would not want us to grieve. She would want us to celebrate the time we spent with her, the memories shared and the many laughs we had with her. There will be a celebration of life at later date, in Steamboat Springs. Details will be posted at a later time.
