Rocco Joseph Perna

Rocco Joseph Perna, age 28, died in his home on March 17, 2021. Rocco was born on August 31, 1992 in Denver, Colorado. He received his master’s degree from the University of Colorado and worked as an accountant for the Federal Bureau of Reclamation. Rocco is preceded in death by his mother, Jackie Perna; his grandparents John and Marie Perna and grandpa Robert Westerfield. He is survived by his dad, Ron (Linda Bacon) Perna, grandma Dorothy Westerfield, and several aunts, uncles, step-siblings and cousins. 

Rocco was kind-hearted, easy going, witty and loved dearly by family and a group of friends he remained close with since childhood. Rocco was a loyal Denver sports fan, and enjoyed going to Broncos, Nuggets & Rockies games. He was never reserved about lending a helping hand, and provided immeasurable support for both his mother and grandmother. It is hard to accept his life was cut so short. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. 

We will be having a celebration of life, but at this time there is no set date. We will reach out to friends and family when that time comes.
