Causey, David

David Causey passed away on March 16, 2021, at the age of 70 years.

A native of Monroe, Louisiana, David served in the US Army mainly in Germany before launching his career as a tax advisor.

Beginning his career at Arthur Young, in 1981 he and several co-workers founded a Denver CPA firm which still retains his name, Causey Demgen & Moore P.C. David retired from the firm in 1998 but remained a mentor and friend to members who still call the firm home. David was a true fan of baseball and was a fan of the Colorado Rockies to the end. He remained a lifelong fan of the Grateful Dead and attended countless shows throughout the country and was treated to his favorite band in his final days.

He is survived by his brothers George Stewart Causey and James Gregory Causey.
