Annette Hayes

Annette Hayes, our beloved family member and friend, passed on October 16, 2021, in her home in Thornton, Colorado. She was surrounded by her family members and friends, as was her last wish. There will be a private ceremony on November 18th at the Veterans Memorial at Ft. Logan Cemetery.

Annette was born on December 24, 1943, in Chicago, Illinois. On March 31, 1973, she married Richard Hayes in the Windy City. They loved to travel together and enjoyed their beloved pets, both cats and dogs. Together they owned and operated Annie’s Kitchen in north Denver where they proudly served many a Denver Bronco. Annette was a very kind and caring person, who loved to spend time with her friends and family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard, of 35 years. She is survived by her sister-in-law Lily Sands, her nieces, Diana Mckee and Jean Tyus, her beloved friend May Heu, whom she often referred to as her daughter, and many other friends and family members.
