It is with great sadness that the family of Judith “Judy” M. Sheppard announces her passing after a brief illness, on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at the age of 68 years.

Judy will be lovingly remembered by her sons Jeremy (Rachel) and Jeffrey Sheppard and foster daughter Jennifer Bussman, grandson Owen and her sisters Jean Stachura and Janice Fitzgerald (Walter).  Judy will also be fondly remembered by her numerous nieces and nephews and many loving friends.  Judy was preceded in death by her father Howard Stachura, mother Sidney Martin (nee Parrott) and brothers James and Joseph Stachura.

A Caterpillar retiree after 30 years of service, Judy moved from the Peoria area to Colorado in 2017 and enjoyed spending time with family and friends, the beautiful views of Colorado, playing online games and making quilts.   

A Celebration of Judy’s life will be held at a future date still to be determined by family.  Memorial donations in memory of Judy may be made to Mooseheart Child City & School at MooseCharities.org
