Robert Earl Casey

Robert Earl Casey, known to friends as "KC," passed away on October 5, 2021, at the age of 67 years after a multi-year battle against infections and health complications.

A native of Alamosa, Colorado, Robert was a roofer for many years until a car accident in the early 1990’s left him paralyzed. Robert kept a positive outlook in life and spent his remaining years focused on building relationships with his children and many close friends. He was an avid Colorado sports fan, woodworking and mirror etching hobbyist, and beer enthusiast. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, generosity, and orneriness.

He is survived by his son Grant, daughter Leah, and sister Rosemarie Kingery.

In lieu of a memorial, his children will scatter his remains in the San Luis Valley from which he hailed (followed by a few shots of tequila in his honor).

Memorial donations in memory of Robert can be made to Craig Hospital Foundation, 3425 S. CLARKSON ST. ENGLEWOOD, CO 80113 in honor of their dedicated care for him in the past.
