Virvian DeLynn (Dozier) Rivarde

Our mother, Virvian DeLynn (Dozier) Rivarde, who was mostly known as Lynn, passed away at the age of 83 in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, on January 14, 2021. She was born in Strong, Arkansas, but traveled extensively with her family and many friends throughout her life, eventually settling in Golden, Colorado, where she lived for a good number of years.

She volunteered many summers at The Windstar Foundation, worked at the Pepsi Center during Avalanche games which she LOVED, and drove the buses for fans at the Colorado Rockies games. She enjoyed sewing, painting, crafts and working with herbs and aromatherapy. Family and friends were most important to her. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.

She is survived by Al Rivarde (spouse); four adult children, Donna (Rivarde) Viola, Steven Rivarde, Allison (Rivarde) Banks, Jan (Rivarde) Skelton; grandchildren Ilia, Beverly, Mollie, Marcie, Krista, Amanda, Andrew, Hannah, Garrett and Taylor; and TEN great grandchildren.

A memorial will be arranged at a later date.
