It is with heavy hearts to announce the passing of Andrew, "Andy" Palmer Smyth. He passed peacefully on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 after a short stay with Denver Hospice. Andy found solitude with his son Rich by his side.

Andy was born July 17, 1962 to Winfield "Wink" Scott Smyth and Candace Palmer Smyth (Vaughn) in Needham, Massachusetts. From there his family lived in Connecticut and New Hampshire and all the while Andy found his rebellious, daredevil side, loving the freedom of a Harley and the peace of a great fly-fishing spot.

Andy leaves behind his son Richard Palmer Smyth, his siblings; Hilary Walton and Theodore Smyth, many nieces and nephews, a few great nieces and nephews and his dearest friend; Harold Morgan (whom his family will forever be eternally grateful for his commitment and friendship to Andy even at his darkest time) Andy was preceded in death by his wife Sandra, brother W. Scott Smyth Jr, his mother and father.

Andy was an amazingly tough, funny, earnest and hard-working man; who took pride in all he did. He never found a better way to spend his time than with family, friends, a cold drink and a little Rock and Roll.

Andy will make a final trip back to New Hampshire with his son where his “Stairway to Heaven” awaits.

“We hope you are taking a long motorcycle ride on the Heavenly Highway my friend” – Catie Morgan dear friend of the deceased.
