Steve Wright

Lawrence (Steve) S. Wright was born on July 16, 1952 to Cara Carter Wright and he passed away on 8/25/2020 in Broomfield, CO.

Survived by his wife Carol, daughter Stephanie (Xander), son Aaron (Beth), granddaughters, Lilian and Elliana, grand dog Stella, his sister, Gail, brother David and was preceded in death by his brother Paul and his mother Cara.

Steve worked for the University of Arkansas Medical Center in the printing department as the printing supervisor for many years. After that he changed careers and was a respiratory tech and loved that his job helped people.

Steve was an avid concert-goer and loved going to rock and roll shows with friends and family. Def Leopard, Journey and Van Halen were among some of his favorite bands. Children were also an important part of Steve’s life and some of his favorite moments were spent with his children, grandchildren and great nieces and nephews.

He and his wife Carol met when they were 17 years old, wed several years later and were married for almost 44 years. They loved the mountains of Colorado, walking around Waneka Lake, watching movies and going out to eat together.

He was known for his wicked sense of humor, resiliency, and his ability to see the bright side of life. He will be very missed by his family and friends. As his wife Carol said, “today I lost my best friend, soul mate and my biggest fan”. Cheers to you, Steve.
