Darrin John Burningham
Lovingly known as “Deater”, Was born on Aug. 19th 1969 in Salt Lake City to Delbert and Elaine Burningham. He grew up in Kearns UT, and moved to Palisade Colorado around 2010, where he later passed away, doing what he loved. Being outside and with nature. He is known for his talent in tie dye, and got his business license to do it professionally in Colorado under his business “Happy Hippie Tie Dye”. He was loved by everyone who knew him, especially his dogs. He was loved for his sense of humor, and his artistic abilities and being a nature loving hippie. He is survived by his children; Daughters Amber Burningham (Cameron),
Levi Burningham, and son, Cody Hills (Amy) He left behind his siblings Delbert Burningham Jr., Debbie Denham (Dennis),
Darla Romrell (James), Leann Espinoza. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews and two grandsons. He is joined in death by both Parents, Delbert and Elaine Burningham, His brother Dean Burningham, Sister in Law Crystal Burningham, Niece Amanda Romrell and wives Dawnie Bushnell and Darlene Allgood. Darrin was unfortunately found deceased in the Cameo Canals on 6/16/2020 after being reported missing and never returning from a camping trip with friends.

His celebration of life will be held at his favorite place in Salt Lake City, Liberty park at the Rice Pavilion. (900 S. 600 E. Salt lake City Utah, 84105) on July 5th from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm This will be a potluck style gathering, if you are interested in bringing something to share, please reach out to his daughters, Amber or Levi.
Please come dressed down in your favorite tie dye, or casual wear. (There will be tie dye available for purchase by vendors if interested.)
