Corey Lynn Frank, May 16, 1974 – February 24, 2020

It is with great sadness that the family of Corey Lynn Frank announce his passing, on Monday, February 24, 2020, at the age of 45 years, after fighting a tough illness. Corey was born in Greeley, CO and raised in the Eaton/Greeley area. He later moved to Henderson, CO, where he remained until his death.

Corey was a wrestler and played football throughout his school years. He also loved his fast cars that he enjoyed racing at Bandimere Speedway and all around the streets of Eaton and Greeley. He was full of life and made friends easily. This continued when he began working in industrial distribution, where his mathematical skills and recall of numbers made him a natural to help all his customers (many who became his friends). He then moved into the trucking business where he learned an entirely new set of parts and used all those skills to help even more people. Corey was a natural salesman, a motivator, and loved being able to help those who worked with him to be their best.

Corey enjoyed watching almost all sports and loved the Denver Broncos. He loved hosting parties and having cookouts for neighbors, friends, and family. He was the life of the party, did his best to make all things fun, and always tried to help others. Corey had a big heart and was generous to a fault. He will be incredibly missed by all who knew him.

Corey will be lovingly remembered by his soulmate of 30 years, Nicole Frank, daughter, Shaelynn Frank (Sam Schamp), and son Brant Frank. Cherished and beloved son of Gary and Penny Frank, brother Chris Frank, and sister Alicia (Mike) Cales. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Blake Boelens and his son Carter, nieces Caitlin and Brooklin Frank. Nephews Aiden and Anderson Cales, and niece Makenna Cales. Corey will also forever be remembered by many extended family and friends that also became like family through the years.

Corey – we will always carry your memory in our hearts.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, May 16, 2020, from 2 pm to 6 pm, at the Fraternal Order of Eagles, 601 N 2 nd Street, LaSalle, CO 80645.

Special thanks to the ICU staff at Avista Adventist Hospital in Superior, Colorado for their exceptional care during his final days.
