A beloved son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and friend, Chester David Flakes (Chet) left this world unexpectedly on Jan. 21, 2020 and he lost his life when his heart failed. Born in Seattle, WA. on Nov. 10, 1983, Chester grew up in northern Colorado where he attended Valley High School. Chester is survived by his three brothers and five sisters, his cousins, his nephews, his nieces, his aunties, grandmothers, his mother, and many extended family members. A son, a brother, and friend he was a man many considered to be pure of heart, a beautiful soul, and a humble warrior in life. Chester was a sincere and loving man that will never be forgotten. Chester will always be remembered for his gentleness, gracefulness, and kindness towards others. He always seemed to look out after others and would put others before himself. We know that he is without pain and loneliness now at rest in God’s arms. Chester David’s family will commemorate his life Memorial Day weekend 2020. His family will spread his ashes in the mountains with a small parting ceremony.
