Ida Louise Sherman of Greeley Colorado, born Ida Louise Engstrand, 81, died on January 15, 2020 due to complications from cancer. She was born in Wichita, KS on August 4, 1938 to Florence Ludlow Engstrand and Raymond Engstrand. Ida moved to Denver in 1956 and married the late Douglas Sherman. She was a housewife, mother, and administrative assistant for numerous companies until she retired in 2011. She loved to quilt, embroider, and make silk flower arrangements. Estes Park had a special place in her heart. She is predeceased by her mother, Florence Ludlow Engstrand, her father, Raymond Engstrand, and brother Floyd Leon Engstrand. Ida is survived by her brother, Raymond Engstrand, his wife Millie of Baltimore, Maryland, her two sons Charles David Sherman of Aurora, Colorado and Stephen James Sherman of Dover, NH. 5 grandchildren Staci Marcus, Randi Gingles, Tanner Sherman, Kristina Sherman, and Gianna Sherman. As well as 11 great grandchildren. Per her request, no services will be held. However, she would like to have her ashes laid to rest in Estes Park.
