Jean Yvonne Porter, (78), of Lakewood, CO passed away peacefully on November 27, 2019. Jean is survived by her three children: David (Monique), Jill, Alison (Bruce) and five grandchildren (Ty, Luke, Hannah, Olivia and Luciana) as well as many extended family members and friends. She was the daughter of Frances Peacock and Morse Boyd and grew up in Illinois until she settled in Colorado with her husband and children in the 1980’s.
Jean spent her life dedicated to healthcare working as a nurse practitioner in many capacities. She was an avid tennis player, skier, and loved her arts & crafts. “Jeanie” was the life of any party and could be found playing mahjong, cards, doing water aerobics or traveling right up until the end of her days.
A service in her memory will be held Tuesday December 10th, at 11:00am at the St. Paul’s Episcopal church at 9200 W. 10th Ave, Lakewood, CO. 80215
