Ernest “Ernie” Samuel Valdez; 53 of Evans, Colorado departed this life late Monday, November 18 th ,2019.
Ernie was born August 13 the, 1966 in Fort Collins, Colorado. Ernie worked as an auto body specialist for over 28 years doing everything from Mechanical work to custom paint.
He is survived by his two daughters; Brittany Gallegos (Rafael Galvan) of Evans, Co; Stella Gallegos (Jim Kness) of Fort Collins, CO, three sons; Jacob Gallegos of California; Myles Gallegos (Roseanna Wilson) of Fort Collins, CO and Jude Montoya of Fort Collins, CO. Three step children Rita Newman, Trina May, and Tomas Montoya of Fort Collins, CO. His mama Lily Valdez, four brothers; Eddie Valdez, Embert Valdez
(Janet), Manuel Valdez, and Gabe Valdez (Susie). 18 grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was proceeded in death by his father Fermin Valdez, brother Gene Valdez and both sets of grandparents.
Ernie was very outgoing and easy to get along with. He was making friends wherever he went. He loved spending time with is family, fishing, beadwork and collecting cars whether it was hot wheels or cars he
drove. He was always there to lend a hand if you needed something fixed on your car or whatever you needed, no matter what the time was.
A funeral will be held Sunday, December 1 st , 2019 from 1pm to 4pm at Christ United Methodist Church
in Fort Collins, Colorado 301 East Drake Road 80525.
