Gloria Marie Jiron

Gloria M. Jiron was born on 8/23/1949 to Nora and Reynaldo and passed away on September 26th, 2022.

Gloria's story began as the oldest female sibling of 11. Gloria took pride in her many roles of caretaking and offering a helping hand or place to stay to anyone who needed or asked.

She began her achievements and career at Sundstrand Aerospace by being the only female in a male-dominated industry, completing her GED, and progressing to achieve her associate's degree in child development. She furthered her accomplishments and established professional roots at Coronado Hills Elementary as a front office secretary and health aid. Once she retired, her pride was that of watching her loved ones grow and progress around her.

She is survived by her husband, John Jiron of 52 years, mother, Nora Cordova, surviving siblings Jenevieve Williams, Arthur Cordova, Sarah Trujillo (Art), Arnold Cordova (Connie), Debbie Ybarra (Daniel), children Darin Jiron (deceased), Sheila Jiron, 6 grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held at the Elk’s Lodge at 3850 W 69th place, Westminster 80030, November 5th, 2022 at 3pm - 6pm.
