Zeke 03/28/1949 – 06/15/2022

Carl LeRoy Elsner, better known as ‘Zeke’, 73, of Denver, Colorado died June 15, 2022. Born in Bellingham, Washington to Norma and William Elsner, along with brothers Jim, David, John and sister Barb. He is survived by a son, Z.J. King Sayre Elsner of Centennial; a daughter, April M., of Commerce City; a God-daughter and God-granddaughter, Lindsey Z. and Zoe V. of Aurora, respectively. Zeke loved to ride!!!

He moved to Colorado in 1978 and soon located others that shared the same passion for riding and were like-minded in many other ways. He found his chosen family of brothers, the Sons of Silence Motorcycle Club. He began prospecting for the club in December of 1981 and became a patch holder in February of 1982. He was in the Northern Colorado Chapter and wore a Florida rocker for a while but the majority of his time with the club was in the Denver Chapter and he was an integral part in shaping the club into what it is today. He celebrated his 40th year anniversary with the SOS this year. Zeke was respected, dearly loved and will be greatly missed. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
