Mary Evelyn Gomez "Gwam"

Mary Evelyn Gomez "Gwam", 76, of Denver Colorado went home to be with The Lord on May 7th, 2022 with loving family near her side.   She was born September 4,1945 in Cheyenne Wyoming to Ezequiel and Amalia Abeyta. She married Danny J. Gomez on July 18, 1961 in Denver Colorado. 

Mary became a CNA, giving of herself with true love, care, compassion, and friendship to all who her life touched. She loved singing praises to our Lord, in the church choir. Also the magnificence of God's creation, be it long walks 'Oceanside' or trails amongst the Colorado Rocky Mountains. She is survived by her husband Danny J. Gomez; Children, Renee' Markoff (Dwayne), Debbie Saenz, Telsa (Alex) Guerra and Danny Gomez Jr; Grandchildren, Tiffany, Joel, Samuel, Savanna and Stephen; Great grandchildren, Lydia, Elliot, Ardyn, Angelo, Angel, Gregory, Jazzreal, Malakai and Nazariah; Siblings, Lawrence Abeyta, Gilbert Abeyta, Martin Abeyta and Margie Martinez. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Emma Ortiz, Celestina Ortega; brothers, Joe Abeyta and Patrick Abeyta. We are truly grateful for her brother Lawrence; Nieces, Virginia"Tiny" and Roberta for being at Mary's side through her last moments. 

 Spring is here so we continue on to 'New Beginnings' in our Family Tree.

I sit admiring that which is a part of me, the last of the few, that continue to bloom.
We come from something deep rooted, yet separate, each of the last to bask in the glory of that from where we come. All of my brothers and sisters shown,scented, fulfilling and thrilling throughout their existence. Not to stop there, but to be fruitful once again, beautiful ready to bare. By: Yolette G M

Mary's 'Celebration of Life' shall be her Love and Legacy that will forever reside within our hearts and minds through Our Lord Jesus Christ, to eternally be at His side as we patiently await our 'Reunion'.
