Angela Loretta Rau

It is with great sadness that the family of Angela Loretta Rau announces her passing after a brief illness,

on Monday, May 7, 2022, at the age of 91. Angela was a native of Queens, NY while most recently living

near immediate family in Castle Pines, CO. Angela will be lovingly remembered by her son, William

Christopher Rau, brother, John Flanagan, grandson Matthew Rau and daughter-in-law, Laurie Batt Rau.

Angela will also be forever remembered by her numerous nieces, nephews and extended family and

dear friends. Angela was predeceased by her husband, William Walter Rau, brother, Edward Flanagan

and sister, Joan Flanagan Nichols.

A memorial mass in memory of Angela will be held on Monday, June 27, 2022 at 11:00am at Saint Kateri

Tekakwitha Catholic Parish in Sparta, NJ. Internment will follow in the family plot at Sparta Presbyterian

Methodist Cemetery. Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Angela to the

(Children’s Tumor Foundation, Mail Code: 6895 P.O. Box 7247, Philadelphia, PA, 19170-0001).
