Janie Mildred Bowles

It is with reverence that we announce the ascension of Janie Mildred Bowles, nee Scott, mother, wife, sister and friend.

On Monday, June 6th, 2022, the universe called her spirit to rejoin that which it sprang from on May 6th, 1954.

She is survived by her blindly devoted and loyal sons Ryan Lee Bowles and Dustin Lee Bowles. As well as her husband and compliment in spiritual chemistry, Gary Lee Bowles. Their love was beyond comprehension, only the explosion was visible. The four of them were regimentally devoted. She is also survived by multiple extended family members.

She created a home that allowed her gay son Dustin to flourish despite the challenges he faced in school. Janie was not only her son Dustin’s mother, but also his best friend and loudest cheerleader. She fiercely loved her first born Ryan, most intensely when everyone else wrote him off. Janie’s heart sang with the addition of Ryan and his wife’s, EmmE’s three children, grandchildren to Janie, Auzy, Braxton and RJ Bowles.

People would dismiss her for her personal battles, and she never left it get to her. She was a sorceress, she scared people, she stood up for people, and she loved with every fiber of her extraordinary power.

She will live on in her sons Dustin and Ryan, her cohorts, her sidekicks, her partners in crime, her knights in shining armor!
