Carmen Louis Buccelli Jr.
Carmen Louis Buccelli Jr. passed away on Saturday April 16, 2022, with his wife Debra Buccelli by his side.
Carmen better known as Butch by his family and friends was Born to Carmen and Frances Buccelli on October 17, 1951, in Ellwood City, PA. Butch was their second child, but their first-born son. He always had an incredibly special relationship with both of his parents. Butch was given his father’s name; the name Carmen has been continued for two more generations of Buccelli men and will be continued for many generations to come. The name Carmen was something he carried very proudly. His father Carmen proceeded him in death in May of 1997, his mother Frances survives him in death, as well as his siblings, Rosemary, Richard, Kathleen, Joseph. Butch grew up in Ellwood City, and later joined the army, and served in the Vietnam War. When he returned from Vietnam he moved to Colorado and met his wife Debra, who also survives him in death. They were married on June 15, 1975.
Their marriage later brought their son also Carmen “Butch,” daughter Amanda and son Ronald. All Butch and Debs children are now grown and have provided ten Grandchildren between the three of them. Butch with wife Lynda have son Carmen Cole, son Wyatt, son Dylan and daughter LouAnn. Amanda and her husband Donald have daughter Hailey, daughter Kylie, son Tyler and daughter Payton. Ron and his wife Aleah have son Gerry and daughter Katelyn. Butch loved being a grandfather and took immense pride in his children and grandchildren.
Butch and Debra were married for 46 years. They lived a life full of adventure and could often be found fishing and camping. Butch also had a love for the game of pool and was often considered a top shooter. When Butch was younger, he learned to play pool from his brother-in-law and best friend Les Sabo. Butch had a noticeably big heart and was always doing anything he could to help others, which is something he also passed on to his family.
Wrapped up in one-person, Butch Buccelli was the most stubborn and hard-headed man we know, but he always stood for what he believed in and always kept his family first.
Words that Butch lived by was “Kill and Die” for his family.
