Anita Lynn Boyce
Anita Lynn Boyce (Aarvold) , 56, devoted and caring mother, grandmother, sibling, aunt, partner, and friend, passed away suddenly at her home on Friday, September 30th, 2022, in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. Her loving spirit, warm demeanor, and self-deprecating sense of humor will be greatly missed by all those fortunate enough to have known her.
Anita was born August 30th, 1966, in Amarillo, Texas to Marshall and Mary Boyce. She called the Four Corners home for the majority of her life, where she spent her professional career working as an administrator in education, healthcare, and human services. However, her life's true calling was found in raising her children and serving her family & friends whom she dedicated herself to and greatly enriched the lives of.
Anita loved nothing more than showing off pictures of her new grandbaby. She was also known for her unwavering support to anyone who entered her life. Some great memories that we hold near are Anita's singing voice, her infectious laugh, and her ability to run late for everything.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Mary. She is survived by sons Cole Cape (Jhezel), Chase Cape (Shelby), Chance Ewing, and Cody Aarvold; step-daughter Chanel Ewing (Nicole), granddaughters Surinity, Nevaeh, Fayth, and Caia ;siblings, Kenny Boyce (Tina), Teresa Ashcroft, and Rosalyn Fry and long time friend Willie Ewing. Anita is also survived by husband Brad Aarvold and stepchildren; Morgan Aarvold, Grace Aarvold, Alyssa Aarvold, and Andrew Aarvold.
To honor Anita’s memory, we are holding a celebration of life on October 23, 2022 at 101 S. Park Ave. Aztec, NM 87410 from 11:30AM-1:30PM. We invite anyone who knew Anita to attend and remember her wonderful life.
