John Clifford Hubbard

It is with great sadness that the family of John Clifford Hubbard announces his passing on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021, at the age of 67 years.  John’s memory is cherished by his wife of 40 years, Laura, and their son, Kendric; John’s mother Joyce, and his sisters Cynthia (Richard) Laurence and Glynis (Todd) Merkowitz.  Numerous nephews and nieces, extended family and friends also have fond memories of vacations and holidays spent together.  John was predeceased by his father, Kenneth Hubbard.

John was a dedicated public school science teacher with the Boulder Valley School District from 1982 until his retirement in 2008.  He shared his love of the outdoors and positive view of the future with students at Angevine Middle School in Lafayette and Fairview High School in Boulder.  John requested that those wishing to celebrate his life listen to John Denver songs and watch Star Trek.
