Dylan Emerson Danley

Dylan Emerson Danley, aged 24, returned to his Heavenly Father and deceased family on August 23, 2021 at 2:15 AM. Dylan passed away after a very severe car accident in Denver and was hospitalized and cared for at the Denver Health Hospital until his passing.

Dylan was born in Show Low, Arizona to his parents, Brett Danley, Father, of Corona, CA; and Laurie Longhurst Rinck, Mother, of Georgetown, TX. Ultimately Dylan acquired step parents too, Brett’s wife, Debi Danley and Laurie’s husband Michael Rinck.

Dylan is survived by his parents and step-parents, his sibling, Sarah Elizabeth Thomas (Danley) and her spouse Robert Michael Thomas of Lexington, KY and his 6 step-siblings and spouses; Nicole Brown, Jake Danley, Katie Danley, Piper Danley, Zachary Rinck, and his spouse Colby Rinck, Casey Rinck and his spouse, Elizabeth Rinck. Dylan is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles all of whom played a role in Dylan’s life. Dylan resided in Arizona; California, Utah and finally in Colorado and had a knack of making many friends and being very loved everywhere he lived.

Dylan was a very happy and mischievous boy growing up. As a toddler when he received birthday gifts, he usually enjoyed the box more than the present that was inside. As long as Dylan had a ball to play with, he was a happy boy. Dylan used to drag his father’s baseball mitt around with him in the house even though it was 1/3 the size of his body at the time. As Dylan grew, so did the challenges in his life and when Dylan was 3 his parents separated and ultimately divorced and Dylan was torn between two homes that loved him dearly. Dylan and Sarah leaned on each other and were so close. Sarah always took such good care of her little brother. Dylan was baptized after his 8th birthday in 2005 into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints and participated in his church as a youth, including being a member of the Boy Scouts of America and obtaining the Aaronic Priesthood at the age of 12. In Jr. high and high school. Dylan loved to go to school…so he could meet up and see his friends but the school work was not his favorite thing. However, while many doubted he would accomplish the feat, he graduated high school and earned his diploma. As Dylan grew into a young adult, his artistic side blossomed and he became enamored with music, specifically the hip hop genre. He loved to write lyrics in addition to being an artist that loved to draw. Dylan recorded three songs under the name kidK. "Mixed Emotions," Gucci" and "Call Me." The links are listed below. He wrote many other lyrics that did not get the opportunity to be layed down in tracks.

Dylan loved and lived life to its fullest extent. His journey here on earth was short and very difficult at times. Dylan was also very thankful for his sister in law, Colby. He leaned on her for support, love, and advice. Dylan always did things, "his way."

As his family, we are happy for him to be free and at peace with his deceased family, his older brother Jesus Christ and his Heavenly Father. He will be dearly missed by all that knew him. Until we meet again our beloved young man!
