Timothy Bart Burch was born June 25, 1960 to Conrad Lamar and Molly Gray (Stancil) Burch at Fort Carson Army Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Tim grew up in Colorado Springs and graduated from Palmer High School in 1978. After high school, Tim attended Fingerprint Examiner Training with the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in Washington, D.C. After returning home to Colorado following his training, Tim worked for the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) for 16 years as a Fingerprint Examiner. Following his career in law enforcement, Tim also worked a second career in sales, before retiring several years ago.

During his years at the CBI, Tim met the love of his life, Kristie Marie Mahler, and they spent 25 happy years together. Tim's favorite pastimes included gambling in Blackhawk and Central City with his brothers, watching his beloved Colorado Rockies baseball, spending time with his son, Christopher Aaron, going to movies with Kristie, visiting with friends, and cuddling with beloved dog, Zoe.

After a courageous year and a half long battle with cancer, Tim passed away at home, surrounded by his family on August 10, 2021, in Lakewood, Colorado.

Tim is survived by his parents, brother Lamar (Polly) Burch, brother Richie (Terri) Burch, brother Gary (Janet) Burch, brother Johnny (Martha) Burch, sister Tammy Burch, brother Eric Burch, sister Heidi (Ken) Coburn, mother-in-law, Janice Mahler, sister-in-law, Lori (Andrew) Osterberg, spouse, Kristie, and son, Chris.
