Whitesel, Charlotte Elizabeth

Whitesel, Charlotte Elizabeth

It is with great sadness that the family of Charlotte Elizabeth (Colborg) Whitesel announces her passing into God’s graces at the age of 82 years after a difficult battle with Alzheimer's disease. Charlotte, known to family and friends as "Char," of Englewood Colorado took her last breath while at home on June 16th, 2021 surrounded by her loved ones.

While being a warrior throughout life and in Christ, Char is an accomplished lifetime writer of poetry. She was recognized for her work and had several poems published in the “National Library Of Poetry” and the “World Of Poetry Press” also receiving honorable mention and awards.

Char was a native of Colorado that retired from her first job she had after high school in the Graphics Department at US West, she went on to retire again from a second career as an Administrative Assistant at the Colorado Refining Company.

Char was a caring and loving Sister, Mother and Grandmother. Char will be fondly remembered by many loving individuals, including her Brother Charles Colborg and family, Sister Clarene (Colborg) Johnson and family, her brother in-law Robert Whitesel, her Son Ross Whitesel, three Grandsons, Christopher (Whitesel) Pelton, Justin Whitesel, and Tyler Whitesel, and one Great Granddaughter, Ayla Pelton.

Char is predeceased by her parents, Charles and Clara Colborg, and her two sons, David Whitesel and Alan Whitesel.

No services are planned, however there will be plans for a celebration of Char’s life that are being delayed due to public gathering restrictions, the time and place will be announced in the near future and we thank you in advance for your patience.

We are asking those who will be attending to please RSVP with an approx of number of guests @ whiteselcharlotte@gmail.com as we need to gauge the attendance to consider the when and where to accommodate this celebration.
