Mary Ellen Kimmich

Mary Ellen Kimmich was born in Dunkirk, New York on July 6, 1945. She died on February 12, 2021 at the age of 75 in Denver, Colorado. She is preceded in death by her ex-husband Roy with whom she was married for 17 years. Her parents were Ruth and Albert Darby. Mary Ellen is survived by her two daughters Tracy and Kristen, grandson Reggie and brother Robert. Mary Ellen was a retired Elementary School Teacher and loved children. She attended the University of Buffalo where she earned her Masters degree. She loved to travel with her daughter Kristen with whom they were best friends. Mary Ellen was loved by many people and remained close friends with Margaret Schultz her sixth grade friend. Mary Ellen had a heart of gold and she was truly an angel! She was a beautiful person both inside and out. I know that she is in heaven and no longer suffering. She will be truly missed! “God my Comforter, my heart is broken at my mother's passing from this life. I take comfort that the last enemy to be defeated is death. I am thankful for the time I had with my mother and what I learned from her. I know that no one could ever be good enough to earn salvation, but her faith in your mercy and grace has brought eternal life. Grant that she rests peacefully in your kingdom until the day of resurrection.” Amen.
