Marcia Beairsto

Marcia Frances (Scilacci) Beairsto passed away in Lakewood, Colorado on October 27, 2021, from Alzheimer’s disease. Marcia was born December 12, 1952, in Lovelock, Nevada, where she grew up camping, hunting, and otherwise enjoying the beauty of Northern Nevada.  She left to join the Air Force in 1979, and she met her husband, Thomas, in Germany in 1980.  They eventually moved to Reno, Nevada, where they raised their three daughters. 

Marcia is survived by her husband of 41 years, Thomas Beairsto of Englewood, Colorado; her daughters, Jennifer Williams (Benjamin) of Littleton, Colorado; Melissa Beairsto (Paul Roberts) of Woodside, New York, and Jessica Beairsto (Steven Perry) of Saline, Michigan; her grandson, Spencer Williams, of Littleton, Colorado; her sister, Margaret Howes (Philip) of Sanford, Michigan; her brother, Randall Scilacci, of Lovelock, Nevada; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Margaret Scilacci; her brothers, Robert and Richard Scilacci; and the many beloved pets she had throughout her life.  

Her family wishes to thank the staff at Lakewood Villa in Lakewood, Colorado, and Agape Healthcare in Greenwood Village, Colorado, for the amazing, compassionate care they provided to Marcia in her final months and for the way they were able to preserve her dignity despite the ravages of Alzheimer’s.  

A private memorial service will be held for immediate family.  In lieu of flowers, they request that memorial contributions in Marcia’s name be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
