Jennie Herrera

Jennie Herrera,  82, of Denver CO passed away peacefully at her home on August 28, 2020
Jennie grew up in Greeley CO.  She met the love of her life, Anthony Herrera when she was in her late teens.   They went on to marry in 1961.
They moved to Denver and started their family.  They owned their own shoe repair shop and worked side by side every day until they closed the shop and retired in 1996.
Jennie loved being surrounded by her kids and grandkids.  She was very family oriented and her door was always open.  The house was always filled with laughter.   She loved music and loved to dance.   Her favorite song was "Earth Angel".  She also loved animals,  flowers and dolls.
Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her daughter Carolyn, her sister Julie and her brother Manuel.
Jennie is survived by her husband Anthony, her brother Sabino (Charlotte),
Her sister in law Mary Jimenez, her four sons, Vincent (Beth), Paul (Michelle), Edward (Lisa) and James (Kelly), seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
