Conrad Warren Mangold passed away on August 9, 2020 at the age of 75.  He was born in Shreveport, LA, to Charles and Bernice Mangold.  At a young age, he moved with his family to Tulsa, OK.  There he completed his education earning a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degree in Marketing at the University of Tulsa.  Upon finishing his education, he joined the Navy in 1968.  During his Naval career, he served as an officer on the USS Hampton from 1968-1970, then from 1970-1971 on the USS Hancock, an attack aircraft carrier, and earned the Vietnam Service Medal and the National Defense Medal.  While stationed in San Diego, he met his former wife, Linda.  Upon his discharge from the Navy, they moved to Colorado in 1971.  Conrad fell in love with everything about the Colorado mountains and remained in the state until his death.  His passions included snow skiing, hiking, cycling and exploring throughout the Rocky Mountains.  He was also an avid fan of NHRA racing and cyclo-cross racing. 

He is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Mangold, sons Michael and Mark (wife Erin) Mangold, daughter Katie Mangold, granddaughters Morgan and Josie Mangold, sister-in-law Carolyn Mangold and many nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his parents Charles and Bernice Mangold, his sister Doris Mangold and brother Edward Mangold, respectively.
