Ruth Billie Ogden, “Billie”

Ruth Billie Ogden (Schafer) passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 18, 2020.  Billie was born on August 4th, 1935 and raised in Denver, Colorado.  Billie married Jimmie Lee Ogden and they had three children together.  Billie raised the three children primarily on her own in Northglenn, Colorado; Tamara L. Ogden, Scott L. Ogden (Lorraine) and Jimmie N. Ogden, DC (Yvonne).  Scott & Lorraine Ogden and Jimmie and Yvonne Ogden provided her with four loving Grandchildren; Stephanie Ogden (Stehanie & Paul Dack of Morrison, CO), Lynsie Ogden (Lynsie & Bradley Izzard of Oklahoma City, OK), Danielle Ogden (Josh Blair) of Arvada, CO, and Jimmie Dallas Ogden (Jimmie & Madeline Ogden of Boise, ID).  She was very active in her children’s lives attending all their soccer games, musicals, leading Girl Scouts and teaching dance.  Billie was very active in her Grandchildren’s lives as well and enjoyed going to all their dance competitions, and games.  She also enjoyed traveling to see the world with her friends.   Billie was loved by all who knew her and she left a lasting impression of joy and kindness with those she contacted through her 85 years on this earth.
