Johnnie “John” Patrick Kenner beloved husband, father, grandfather aka “Bopie” and great grandfather, passed away on October 14, 2020 at age 77.

John was a Colorado native born in Denver on May 27, 1943 to the late Frank and Alice Kenner. He was the oldest of 5 children, graduated from Lincoln High School and served 4 years in the Air Force. He made a career of driving semi trucks racking up millions of miles over the years. Many of those miles were working at Legacy Trucking hauling mail for the USPS. He was known by many for his sense of humor and ability to tell jokes. He loved making people laugh and smile, one of his many endearing qualities. 

John was survived by his wife, Shreevie Kenner, his three sisters Janice Williams, Shirley Walters and Rhonda Paulin, his daughters Dena (Bryan) Williams, and Nici Kenner as well as his grandchildren Bridget (Dustin Graham) Kenner, Kristian Kenner, Rachel Williams, Meghan Kenner, Zach Williams, Alec Williams and Blake Kenner and his great grandchildren Alexis Kenner and Brianna Graham as well as many cousins and nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Alice Kenner, his brother Michael Kenner, his grandson Bradley Williams, his first wife of 40 years Marilyn “Kay” Kenner, as well as many other relatives.

Due to the global pandemic and the related restrictions for gatherings at this time, his services will be delayed until those restrictions have been lifted to allow family and friends to gather for his memorial and internment. We will notify family and friends once dates are determined.
